Coffee & Reading the Morning Paper
Good afternoon, Friday. Holiday drinks are back at Starbucks, so it’s time to start thinking about the holidays! And we are loving November so far!
This month marks the largest chocolate festival in the USA – the Northwest Chocolate Festival in Seattle. Are you attending? We wish that we were but can’t wait to cheer it on from afar. This weekend is the DMV Coffee + Chocolate Festival, too! Sounds amazing. https://www.dmvchocolateandcoffee.com/. We’ve also seen wonderful pictures from the Salon du Chocolat in Paris. Magnifique!
In terms of articles published this week, as promised, find our brand new Coffee + Chocolate Gift Guide for 2022, here! Happy holiday shopping.
Last but not least, this morning, we went to Un Je Ne Sais Quoi, one of our favorite cafes/French patisseries EVER, and certainly in all of DC. Have you tried their croissants? Divine. And so Emily in Paris. It takes us back to our article about How to Replicate Emily in Paris in Washington, DC! Check out our Instagram stories for more information.
Wishing you all the best. Wishing you peace. Wishing you time cupsouls.
Your Coffee Shop Lifestyle
This week, on a very passionate whim, we deleted our Twitter account. No, this had nothing to do with Musk. It was just time. What that said, we’re hoping to double down on Pinterest in the coming months. This is a snippet of our autumn coffee aesthetic board, and we love it! Please follow us on Pinterest!
Quote for the Weekend
“Create what your intuition is asking you to create. Do this as an act of service. You have no idea who you may end up helping or even the lives that you may save by simply following the truth of your heart. Don’t let fear stop you from listening to your inner calling. Don’t let an unclear path discourage you from taking steps into the unknown. The greatest you arises when you gently start embracing the space beyond your comfort zone. You don’t need to have all of the answers right now to eventually be successful. You just need to be willing to take one step at a time. Embrace the challenge. Remember how strong you are and how much you have already overcome. You don’t need to move fast, even moving slowly can get you to where you want to go. Let yourself live in your power. You hold a unique vision and that is your gift to the world.” — Yung Pueblo
