Coffee & Reading the Morning Paper
Good morning, Friday. HAPPY NATIONAL CHOCOLATE DAY. One of our favorite holidays 🙂 And Monday is Halloween! This is some good chocolate-filled vibes for the weekend!
We had a good week at work; heading back to the office more and more, seeing colleagues and friends, has really given us a new life. We are grateful. This past weekend, we went pumpkin picking and got a “beaut” to carve for trick or treat-ers that will hopefully join us on Monday eve. This is such a fun time of year.
This month, we entered into a ceremonial cacao recipe contest and would LOVE it if you gave it a like on Instagram. What’s ceremonial cacao? Read our article, here: https://timecupsoul.com/2022/07/07/ceremonial-cacao/…
And…stay tuned for our article on 2022 ADVENT CALENDARS coming asap… Make sure that you read our guide to the best PSLs/fall drinks in the District, here: https://timecupsoul.com/2022/10/26/where-to-grab-unique-delicious-fall-drinks-like-pumpkin-spice-lattes-in-washington-dc/ Lastly, we promise to review the newest coffee arrival to DC: Blank Street. People are really divided over this one.
We watched BELLE this week, a Japanese take one Beauty and the Beast. I’m not sure that I would recommend it for children (violence) but it is absolutely wonderful. The main song really touched us. You can find the English version, too, but we watched it in Japanese with subtitles. My friend wants to be Belle (see video) for Halloween! Pink hair and all.
Wishing you all the best. Wishing you peace. Wishing you time cupsouls.
If you’re able and enjoy our writing/posts, please support us with a coffee. It means a lot to us and helps us visit new places for neighborhood reviews. Thank you!
Quote for the Weekend
