Coffee & Reading the Morning Paper HELLO FRIDAY. This past week, we got a beautiful plant water mister for our prayer plant, which seems to be doing fairly well in our home in DC. The prayer plant folds up into “prayer position” every evening when it sleeps, and it’s so beautiful. Having this plant has nudged us to be more mindful, and has also expanded out our “jungalow” section of our apartment! If you need some plant/wild inspiration, we highly recommend the Jungalow. Coffee & Reading the Morning Paper HELLO FRIDAY. This past week was a whirlwind. We did get to visit our grandmother which was absolutely wonderful, but this week brought some angst and stress, which culminated last night when we injured our neck at martial arts class. What it boils down to is likely that the normal teacher was not there and the class did a different warm-up… so when we somersaulted (the wrong way), the neck instantly seized with stiffness and lots of pain.
