Coffee & Reading the morning paper

Happy Friday! This week, we have a collection of DC’s autumn drinks for you! We recommend any of the below coffee shops without reservation/hesitation.

[DC COFFEE GOSSIP] The Royal (Le Droit Park) has unveiled their fall drinks! The one that captured our hearts was the “Relajo Hot Chocolate”! This drink is dark chocolate, Royal’s relajo spice blend, which they described as “mole-like,” and steamed milk. YUM.

[DC COFFEE GOSSIP] Call Your Mother Deli (Georgetown, + additional locations) also has their fall menu now 🙂 First: pumpkin dulce de leche cream cheese?! And in terms of coffee, they’re brewing up a “Pumpkin Dulce Latte.” We can’t wait to try it.

<<We need to travel to Call Your Mother to grab a photo; the drink is not on Instagram yet. Anyone have a pic?>>

[DC COFFEE GOSSIP] Cameo Coffee (Potomac Ave) has a “Bonfire Latte” to warm your spirits. This drink looks incredible. Toasted marshmallow fluff, warming spices and hickory syrup! Wow.

[DC COFFEE GOSSIP] Slipstream (14th Street/Logan Circle) is offering “Sweater Weather.” Besides the awesome name, this drink has espresso, tahini, cinnamon, all spice, vanilla, orange zest, and oat milk. Yay!

[DC COFFEE GOSSIP] Last but never least, Little Red Fox (Cleveland Park) is serving “Sugar & Spice,” a coffee drink with cardamom, brown sugar, and bourbon simple syrup. Yumz.
